FOUNDER & MANAGING DIRECTOR
MARIAM JIMOH
I'm the founder of WCAN. Day to day, I run Oja and I am UCL STEM Alumni.
​
I enjoy finding new dishes to gourmandise, drinking wine, potting plants and watching foreign films. I created WCAN because I wanted to see more women who look like me in the corporate world.
COMMUNICATIONS
MANAGER
CHERONO BARNO
I handle all of WCAN's interactions with our members which consist of over 8,000 people. I also head a team of three to strategise, plan and execute the teams vision.I am a Law grad and City Alumni.

My nose is almost always buried in a book and I am a massive Beyoncé fan. I also love exercising, blogging and learning new things.

EVENTS OFFICER
DANIELLE DANKYI
I mainly manage the event process from sourcing speakers to running and executing the events. I recently graduated from the University of Manchester in Politics, Philosophy and Economics.
I currently work at JP Morgan as a corporate analyst, starting my first rotation in the CIB.I love baking and stepping out of my comfort zone! I’ve recently tried indoor skydiving and puppy yoga!
STRATEGY & SPONSORSHIP MANAGER
RACHEL JIMOH
My role is to oversee the team and also create beneficial relationships with corporate sponsors and firms. I am currently a final year student at Kings College London and I study Anthropology and Politics.

I’m also an avid baker and a huge music lover. Fun fact: I can play 3 instruments!
COMMUNICATIONS OFFICER
ANNA ANETEKHAI
I mainly communicate with our members about upcoming events and general enquiries. I’m currently a third year LLB Law student at the University of Birmingham with aspirations to work in commercial law or compliance.
I enjoy activities such as going to the cinema, roller skating, ice skating and trying out new things. I also love watching movies, with some favourites of mine being Disney, Tyler Perry and musicals.

RICHEL MENSAH
I graduated from the University of Kent in Economics in 2021 and subsequently joined Barclays Corporate Bank as an Analyst. Having completed my graduate scheme, I will now be studying for a Master of Finance at the University of Cambridge.

As an Events Officer, I develop, plan, and execute a variety of internal and external events with the team. Outside of WCAN, I love serving at Church and enjoy travelling and trying new cuisines!
EVENTS MANAGER
KEHINDE OYEBOLA
I graduated from the University of Nottingham in 2019 with a first-class degree in History.I joined the WCAN team in October 2020 to further my passion for mentorship and access.
Currently, I am the Events Manager of WCAN. I work alongside a team of two Event Officers to manage the event process from the planning stage, to running the event and carrying out the post-event evaluation.I am also a Future Trainee Solicitor at Norton Rose Fulbright.

Outside of WCAN I have many hobbies and interests such as playing netball, vlogging and learning new languages!
COMMUNICATIONS OFFICER
DAMILOLA JAYEOLA
I’m a third year Politics and Economics student. I joined the WCAN team in October 2020 to be part of an initiative that aids the development of the lives of young Black women. I am a Communications Officer at WCAN, where I liaise with our members about our upcoming events and share sponsors opportunities.
I enjoy performing arts, spending time with friends and family, presenting, debating on worldly issues and playing various sports.

AIYA ABDALLA
I joined WCAN in May 2022 because I wnat to be part of the change in helping Black women navigate their careers in the corporate world.
I completed my undergraduate at the University of Sussex. I am very passionate about social mobility and inclusivity in the corporate workplace.
