About The Event
This is an unmissable event for any future and current entrepreneurs who would like to learn more about how to optimize their businesses led purely by our Founder, Mariam Jimoh and her experiences.
She is Forbes 30 under 30, has raised over $4m in investment for her startup Oja (oja.app) that has recently begun a brand partnership with England footballer, Raheem Sterling.
This event details the essentials for starting your business, whilst also providing insight from Mariam and other black business owners and entrepreneurs on how they started and dealt with the difficulties of managing their side hustle, job, and interests.
The event series will be broken down into 3 events that are both virtual & in real life:
- HOW TO: Begin - this will cover how to start your business, set it up and use your network to make it hit the ground running, it will also cover branding
- HOW TO: Fund - this will cover how to get funding for your business and also how to pitch and build a busines model, it will include some potential connections to investors too
- HOW TO: Grow (11th May) - this will cover growth including how to manage cash flow, get product-market fit and how to grow your business THIS WILL INCLUDE AN IN REAL LIFE EVENT with the session, a PANEL, an OPPORTUNITY TO PITCH FOR INVESTMENT and drinks and refreshments
