About The Event
WCAN is excited to host its ninth Annual Conference and its first in-person conference for our Banking, Finance & Consulting members in over two years.
The Conference will enable our members to take on the next academic year with a stronger network of inspiring Black women who are doing great things in the Banking, Finance & Consulting industry. The event will focus on connecting our undergraduate members with members of companies like investment banks, consulting firms, asset managers, insurance firms and more. The day will feature motivating career talks and advice sessions from women speakers, a series of skills-building workshops, interactive panel discussions and networking with our partner firms.
Its aim is to empower, educate, elevate and encourage our members. This exclusive event aims to provide the women in attendance with the practical skills necessary to step into success, both personally and professionally, in the Banking, Finance & Professional Services industries.

Eligibility Criteria
​To be eligible to attend this event, you must be:

an undergraduate student or graduate;

from a Black African, Black Caribbean, Mixed Black (e.g. White and Black Caribbean), or another Black background;

Interested in pursuing a career in banking, finance, consulting or professional services;

Preparing to secure a summer internship, spring week or graduate job this application cycle;
